I hate chain letters, but….

Here’s a photo for the fridge.

Plowing through the email after dinner…and what do I find? An email from Tootsie (my sis). Turns out it’s a chain letter…but with a really great photo (above)…and the message:

Forward this message the same day you received it
It may sound ridiculous, but it is right on time
We believe that something is about to happen. Angels exist, only sometimes they haven’t got wings and we call them friends; you are one of them
Something wonderful is about to happen to you and your friends.
Tomorrow at
9:12 AM somebody will address you and tell you something you have been waiting to hear.
Please do not break this chain. Send it to at least 7 of your friends

Ridiculous indeed. Now, I’m not superstitious…really, I’m not…well, except maybe for rally hats at baseball games and that little thing about knocking over the salt shaker*…but other than that..

But this… is not fair. Combining chain letters and angels. Soooo…got to thinking, same day huh? It’s still Thursday, if I post this now…posting is a way of forwarding (isn’t it?) 7 of you just might cruise on by….and even if you don’t…isn’t every stranger a possible friend? And by posting it…none of you will be mad at me. What the heck..hitting publish.

*oh, and the thing all the little old Bohemian ladies in the family always said about not saying thank you for plants someone gives you from their garden (they won’t grow).

Edit: Oops, forgot…

Love, Mom

  1. What a beautiful picture… and why didn’t Mom send this out? Hmmm?

    Nice picture.

Angels… they ARE amongst us. Sometimes, they are us.

  2. LOVE the new place, M*A! That really is your fridge, too…I know it even if I’ve never seen it (yet)!

    I love that picture, too!
